Station 53 provides Broadband Ku Service on newly launched T14R 63.0 West

Telstar 14R weighed about 5,000 kilograms at launch and carries 46 Ku-band transponders — 27 on fixed beams and 19 on steerable beams. When considered in 36-megahertz equivalents, the payload counts 58 transponders.

Station 53 provides Broadband Ku Service NSS 7 22.0 West

It is a hybrid Ku- and C-band telecommunications satellite providing fixed satellite services this 72 transponder satellite will operate at 22° West longitude over the Atlantic Ocean.

Station 53 provides Broadband Ku Service SES 1 101.0 West

SES-1 operates in geostationary orbit, located at longitude of 101 degrees west, where it will replace the AMC-2 and AMC-4 satellites. It is equipped with 24 G/H band (IEEE C band), and 24 J band (IEEE Ku band) transponders.
